Ok so I put it down where theres loads of rats. I tried the bait and it was not what they wanted. So I used porridge cereal. BAM straight on the cereal. Then put inside and second night a baby rat dead. OK great then the next night a baby rat dead. This is working I’d thought only the third night nothing. Cereal at the entrance and that was not eaten but a few feet away sausage was eaten. Its obvious they realised this trap means DEATH. They dont go near it anymore.

When I used this product, it appeared to be well-made, but it did not kill any small rodents. They consumed some of the bait, but it still did not work, even though I tried it in different locations. It was easy to set up. The parcel was well-wrapped, so it did not get damaged during transport.

I admit, I did use it outdoors, & I think it's meant for indoor use, but outdoors was where the problem was, so took the risk, it sat out there with its led merrily flashing for several weeks, until the led told me the batteries were flat, so I changed them, & the led never indicated it was working ever since, never killed a rat, but the slugs seemed to enjoy the bait. unfortunately I can't recommend, as it didn't kill a rat......though having said that, I only ever saw one rat, it's possible a cat got it before the trap got the chance?

Kit looks good. Still my rats haven’t gone near it. But they don’t like new things apparently. But the bait isn’t doing it for my rats either. I’ll be naming them soon. Observation. Nothing telling my batteries are working or not. Has been on for six weeks. Doesn’t tell me the batteries have run down on standby or if I need to replace them . Packaging doesn’t say how long battery lasts either. Or anyway to test unit at all. Rat could have been in and out for all I know and it not killed it. He and his friends are alive and kicking. I had high hopes for this one.
