I had a few small mice in my garage and was unable to catch them using humane trap. So so I chose these because other reviewers said they had a particularly strong smell. The smell is definitely very strong but not unpleasant, like a mix of mint and menthol. I actually quite like it. I held them by the edges which stopped my hands getting too smelly. After washing hands once, the smell was gone. The pouches are under a few different cupboards in my garage and I've not seen any mice on the security camera ever since. Not surprised as I do now have a very minty smelling garage!
