Excellent product. As an ethical vegan I did not want to use lethal means to remove mice. The live capture trap worked once but the mice learnt to avoid it. I had read about peppermint oil. I tried essential oil with some success, but it was €10 for a tiny vial of 10ml. Tjis stuff is brilliant. I spray it in the cupboard where they are getting in (the hole is not accessible and I have used so many cans of expanding foam). I also spray some on cotton wool balls and leave near the bin etc. If you get this and still hear or see a mouse, it's is likely you haven't used it in enough areas. This is such a clever product. The smell is very strong to mice who have 100 times better smell than we do, so it is an irritant. It also masks the pheromones from their urine meaning they cannot navigate rooms thry previously explored. It really worked for me and I will definitely order more. Like I said, if you are disappointed, you are not using enough or in all the areas affected. Update 6 Feb 2022. Second bottle arrived today. The bottle was sealed in polythene and had leaked but tightening the cap fixed this. However, it smells very sweet, almost like Murray Mints or butter mintoes, not as strong as the first bottle which smelled very strongly of peppermint, cloves and cinnamon. I have just resprayed, so am not sure if this will be as effective or not.

I was a little sceptical about the product but thought I would give it a try as my wife did not want me using bait and a trap. To some degree I agree with her as I do not like killing wildlife. They have as much right to living on this planet as we do. The problem was a couple of rodents moved in at the bottom of the garden attracted by waste from the bird table and feeders. They seemed to be living under a bench so I bought two of these sprays one to give a good initial dose, the second as back up. Within a few days of using this product there were no further sightings. I now spray the area every few days and our friends haven’t returned. A bit pricey, the container is quite small but if it continues to work I will keep using it.

Since using this spray I have not seen anymore mice. I sprayed all areas I thought they were coming through, skirting boards etc. Becareful and don't spray too much like I did as it can be a bit over powering.

I bought this spray after spotting a solitary rat in my garden. After buying the spray I spotted the rat on my patio. It ran off when I opened the door, so I sprayed the area. Rat returned within minutes but definitely seemed to be put off by the spray and left my garden promptly. The next day, after it had been raining I sprayed the area again. Saw the rat within minutes. Went out again and drenched the area with the spray. Within minutes the rat had returned but was not bothered at all by the spray and carried on its business as before. Again I went out and sprayed more. This time the rat seemed to he put off and left the area. Overall disappointing. Having said that I think peppermint can be a deterrent but so much is needed and this bottle is very expensive for the amount. Ordered another brand.
