I had been trying to catch this mouse for almost a month using various traps but none of them seemed to work. This trap works very well! It is easy to set, just don't touch the trigger board. Follow the instructions on where to put it. Don't put it in a too tight area, where it might snag and not snap properly. I baited mine with crushed walnuts mixed with butter, into a mush, because I don't want the house to smell of peanut butter. The mice are very attracted to the walnut mush. These six traps caught eight mice last night and ten, so far, today. Needless to say, my filthy neighbour has been evicted. I've tried poisons and other traps but they've all been crap. With these, the mice get caught clean by the neck and die instantly, no rattling around. Two incidents happened where the mice got caught wrong, and suffered. They were very small, young mice, so maybe didn't trigger the spring fast enough. The yellow band on the top makes it easy to see whether the trap is triggered, or not. Very pleased with these!
