Had a problem with rats so something larger than a humane mouse trap needed. This is well made, easily primed, athough with a powerful spring so you have to watch your fingers when setting it! Very clear instructions and guidance on bait. Recommended.

I have bought several traps over the years. These work fine - use peanut butter or chocolate for best results. They are reasonable quality although one has broken and mice nibbled the plastic on another. They pack a punch and trap the rodent 9 out of 10 times. The gloves are a handy addition and package arrive quickly.

The traps were for a rat who had been seen in the garden. They were fiddly to set as they were what I would call a hair-trigger setting. I however persevered. Each morning I went to them they had gone off but the food was gone. I wasn’t sure why this was happening. After a few weeks one of the traps would not set it just kept going off and would not catch. I eventually gave up. The next week the same thing happened with the second trap, however much I tried it would just not catch. I left the last one out, and went to check it late last night and as I was walking towards it the trap set itself off with no rodent near it. The mystery was solved, the traps obviously went off for no reason and the rodents then come along and eat the food. I went online today to ask for refund but am a couple of days over the return period. I will still be complaint and ask for money back As the traps are either faulty or badly made, either way they didn’t work for me.
