When I was deciding whether to get the 14 cm or 21cm trap … I opted for the XL 21cm … within 1.5hrs my rat decided to say bye to this mortal coil! Captured on my ring camera the XL was the size for the job … 1 down, a few more to go … tried a humane trap to no avail and poison wasn’t an option!

Solid piece of kit. Worked a treat! Roland has gone to meet his maker. Mars bar is definitely the best bait. Put the traps out without any bait and not set, where the rats run, normally along the side of a fence or shed. Leave for a few days so that they get used to them and are not afraid of them. It is most important that you wear gloves, I used old gardening ones, so that I did not leave any human scent on the traps. After a few days set the traps and wait. I got the rat the next day. I would definitely recommend these traps.
