- 2 x Oversized Extra Large Heavy Duty Rat Traps. 21cm x 11.5cm . ,Smaller standard traps (14cm x 7.5cm) are less likely to catch the rats simply due to size. They do work but the chancr of them escaping from smaller traps increases. Our spring mechanisms are very powerful and so kill instantly .
- Suitable for use indoors or outdoors in the garden...... outside of the chicken pen for example. Note - if being placed outside please be sure to place out of sight of birds etc in a purpose made tunnel to avoid unintended birds and animals being caught.
- Our Traps are made from high quality materials and have very sensitive and powerful springs that get the job done! They will catch both mice and large rats.
- Mamax Rat traps are easy to use. Simply remove the bait cup from the bottom of the trap. Bait with peanut butter , Snickers or Mars Bar for best results. Remember and pack the bait tightly into the cup so that it cannot be easily removed. Replace the bait cup and push back the lever using the palm of your hand then SLOWLY release the pressure and the trigger mechanism will catch the treadle. Place the noew set trap carefully along skirtings, or anywhere that you see signs of rodent activity.

This trap is a beast, didnt realise how big it would be which is ideal for larger rodents and prevent them tipping it or running off with it. I made a beautiful banquet of on this trap and it was caught within 8 hours after it had learnt to set off small traps to catch food. Whilst sensitive its large enough you can place bait on the trigger also and sprinkle bait within the tray itself. I'd prefer to catch it humanely (it had the choice!) but at least it was killed quickly with this being so large and strong. Note if you have mice it probably wont work you need the right size traps for the problem, if you are not sure get medium size and dropping should indicate what type of problem you have.

Works well with rats but mice can get away i think. Trap was set off subsequently but didn't catch anything. Sadly also caught a bird. You unscrew a cap from the underneath and fill the cup with bait and put the cap back on.

I have tried many other traps which were useless. This is a well built, sturdy and VERY strong trap. You have to be SO careful setting it up. It is incredibly sensitive. I didn't like the thought of putting out rat poison. A slow a painful death. I wanted something that would kill a rat cleanly and instantly. It caught and killed a large rat 2 hours after being put outside. Highly recommend!

Two large traps, trapped two large Rats. Horrible thing to have to do but the rats have ruined the entire contents of a large shed by chewing and pissing on everything, also presenting a risk to health as we have a veg patch that they trample. If you get these and have Squirrels or birds etc visiting your garden, only set at night time so that no harm comes to the other creatures.

Köder sollte wie angeführt Snicker, Mars oder ähnliches sein! Beim Aktivieren der Fallen sollte äußerste Vorsicht beachtet werden. Ein Versuch mit einem Besenstiel zeigte wie schnell die Fallen sehr kräftig zuschnappen. Regen und Nässe mag das Metall nicht so gerne und es bilden sich schnell Roststellen. Aber bei dem Preis und überwiegenden Nutzungszweck kann das in Kauf genommen werden,

Wir hatten einen – hoffentlich nur einen – ungebetenen Mitbewohner im Keller. Zuerst versuchte ich es mit einer Lebendfalle, die jedoch eine Woche lang ignoriert wurde. Daraufhin kaufte ich eine günstigere Schlagfalle für Ratten. Diese schnappte in der Nacht zu, aber die Ratte entkam und hinterließ Bluttropfen, was ich schockierend fand. Fallen sollten schnell töten. Deshalb entschied ich mich für diese Falle. Ich stellte sie entlang des vermuteten Laufweges der Ratte auf, und nach wenigen Tagen schnappte die Falle zu. Der Köder scheint also attraktiv zu sein. Das nützt jedoch wenig, denn die Ratte lebte noch! Die Mechanik war nicht stark genug, um das Tier schnell und möglichst schmerzlos zu töten. Das darf unter keinen Umständen passieren. Ich rate daher dringend vom Kauf dieser Falle ab.
