Put two of these traps out (added bits of caramel wafer as bait) and an hour later the wee mouse was in there. We’re taking it away to a field miles away to release it so it won’t just come straight back. The design is great with the trap door and lever, it’s really well designed.

My cat (bless his little socks) decided to bring us a present. We didn’t know about said present until it was sat looking at me through the utility room door. Needless to say it disappeared under the freezer before I could catch it. Ordered these traps as I wanted a humane option rather than the option my husband was going for. Decent size trap, but not sure how it would cope with a REALLY big non paying house guest. They are very easy to bait (I used a little bit of peanut butter mixed with bird seed to make a small ball). Setting the trap is simple, you just push the trap door inwards until it clicks into place. It is very sensitive so be gentle when you put it in place as rough handling can trigger the door release. Comes with a brush for washing, I stood it on end to dry so that all the water drained out. SUCCESS!! Caught the unwanted guest on our first attempt. Have left a trap in place just in case the cat decides to bring us another present🙄.

This longer 19.5cm design with tail cut out is now much better, however still a little too short and could do with being another 3.5cm longer. However it is much better than earlier and all the other similar designs. I like that water and food can be bait so the trapped mouse can have a drink when stressed. There are many small breathe holes but they are small with half of them are in the base, so useless when sat on the floor. Plus pre bait falls through onto the floor. I don’t like this and prefer the holes to be in the sides plus above, so I drilled a couple of larger side holes. People shouldn’t be using these outside or in the rain, so no need for holes in the base. The plastic doors aren’t reinforced so could be chewed through. Otherwise it seems a good trap and much better than before. It maybe necessary to learn to adjust set the trigger for lighter mice, by weighting the trigger platform with a coin, but it’s then tricky to set. I haven’t caught a mouse in it yet, as the mouse was trapped in another humane trap that upsettingly stress killed it. Hence the need for additional breathe holes and more space!

Sie ist aus robustem ABS-Material gefertigt, lässt sich einfach reinigen und immer wieder verwenden. Die Befüllung der Falle mit Köder geht schnell, und auch die Handhabung ist kinderleicht. Zudem ist sie sicher für Kinder und Haustiere, da keine gefährlichen Substanzen wie Gift oder Klebstoff verwendet werden. Fazit: Eine zuverlässige und durchdachte Lösung für die Bekämpfung von Mäusen – tierfreundlich, effektiv und wiederverwendbar. Sehr empfehlenswert!
