A failed product that may close the trap door from the air, as before the mouse enters to eat the bait, the trap closes as soon as it puts its foot in the first trap and the mouse runs away. I did not expect this.

Pros: A high quality galvanised non kill trap, that will probably trap anything and everything but moles. Cons: Our Passive aggressive garden mole Digby just filled it and packed it hard with soil. Our efforts to trap and repatriate Digby to the wilds of Yorkshire have failed. The battle has now moved to it's psychological phase, we have installed 6 solar buzzing mole scarers. I'm hopeful the lack of sleep will slow down his tunnel project. I suspect he will just steal them, and use them as tunnel props.

This is easy to set and use and does catch the rats.However it is lightweight and not robust and young rats can squeeze out of the loose fitting door after it has sprung shut as I guess mice would.I would be very surprised if it could contain a squirrel.I watched two trapped rats manage to get out of the gap after they were trapped and skip off to freedom.I caught a third that wasn't quite as bright.

The media could not be loaded. I assumed I had a large rat in the house from the size of the poop (I am no expert though) so I bought this. But it was actually light enough to get in take the bait (granola cereals and peanut butter) and get out every night. I tried what someone said in the reviews before, adding stones of the right weight on the lever helps it to make more sensitive but it took a couple of trials. Finally I also added carboard on the sides to make sure the mouse would go on the lever and fixed the stones with blue tac. The morning after I found a healthy and curious mouse which I could relocate safely in the countriside. I am leaving the trap set up again just to make sure it doesn’t have siblings still at my place. Really happy I did not have to poison the little fur ball.
